Introducing the Laurie Oar Event Centre 🎉
Officially opened Friday 3 July and named in honour of long-serving Club President Laurie Oar, whose involvement with the Burleigh Bears traces back nearly four decades.

The Burleigh Leagues Club has entered a new era, unveiling this $8 million multi-stage redevelopment, designed to grow the Club while honouring the spirit of Rugby League and the community that surrounds it.

To our Club members, our team and everyone who poured their time and effort into getting this space live, thank you. 🖤
We look forward to celebrating all of life’s moments with our community in the Laurie Oar Event Centre.
